WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Although hemp oil and CBD oil are both derived from hemp, they are not the same. Many brands will try to confuse the two, but hemp oil is pressed from the seeds of the plant and CBD oil is extracted from the whole plant. Hemp oil does not contain CBD. Checkout Amazon for example – it’s full of flashy brands marketing ‘Hemp Oil’ for what seems like a bargain. They’re snake oil salesmen hoping to capitalize on the confusion around CBD products. We’re here to play defense.
CHECK THE INGREDIENT LIST
Hemp seed oil will be listed as cannabis sativa seed oil, while actual CBD will be listed as cannabidiol, full-spectrum hemp, hemp oil, PCR (phytocannabinoid rich) or PCR hemp extracts.
We vet all of our companies to ensure you’re only getting full spectrum products. That’s our promise.
CBD with greater than .03% THC requires a medical marijuana card to purchase and can’t be sold in states where marijuana is still illegal, so making sure your CBD has less than .03% THC is crucial to stay within the lines with the law. All products on SILVARA have less than .03%.
Lab Reports done by a 3rd party are the first thing we look for when we come across a new product. Without a reputable lab report, there’s no way of knowing what’s in the CBD, and at the end of the day, that’s the most important thing. Additionally, make sure the testing has been done recently, at least in the past 8-10 months.
At SILVARA, we aim to keep you moving through the finest offering of CBD products and educational materials. Our goal is goal is to inspire, educate, and curate the finest selection of CBD available anywhere.
